Multistate Essay Exam (“MEE”)

Each state varies on the amount of essays and scoring formula. Some states adopted Uniform Bar Exam, MEE Multistate Essay Exam, which is 6, 30 minute questions, weight is generally 30%. MEE is a national exam not state specific. Very few states allow an appeal of bar exam results, you cannot appeal MBE, because it is machine graded, but some states allow bar exam appeal which can increase chances of passing e.g. Michigan (see tab of bar exam appeals for more information).
